3月3日19:00-20:00在CB10举办了一场精彩的讲座，清香邀请到了备受赞誉的郭曰方先生为大家分享：《大科学家的小故事》。讲座在学生中引起了巨大的反响，让师生们对科学和科学家产生了浓厚的兴趣和热情。
On March 3rd from 19:00 to 20:00, a wonderful lecture event was held in CB10, where THISDL invited the highly acclaimed Mr. Guo Yuefang to share the stories of great scientists. The lecture has caused a huge response among students, which has deepened their interest and enthusiasm for science.
郭先生首先向师生们介绍了他的背景和成长经历。他来自黄河边的一个小山村，家境贫寒，求学之路经历了许多困难和挑战。然而，他心怀梦想，努力学习，不断追求知识。童年的经历也为他的科学事业打下了坚实的基础。
Mr. Guo first introduced his background and growth experience to the teachers and students. He comes from a small village by the Yellow River and comes from a poor family. He has experienced many difficulties and challenges on his way to study. However, he harbors dreams, works hard to learn, and constantly pursues knowledge. This experience also laid a solid foundation for his scientific career.
接下来，郭先生为师生们分享了他跟随邓小平访美的故事。
Next, Mr. Guo shared his story of following Deng Xiaoping’s visit to the United States with teachers and students.
科学是支撑国家强盛的根基，科学家是国家与民族的脊梁。在这个伟大的群体中涌现了许许多多时代楷模和民族英雄。郭先生这一生，与科学同行，结识了很多科学大师。这些科学家在极端困难的条件下，矢志不移，报效祖国，献身科学，功绩卓著。他们的品格、人格和精神，就像一面面旗帜，一座座丰碑，矗立在师生们面前。继承和发扬科学家精神，中华民族伟大复兴的梦想就一定会实现。
Science is the foundation that supports the strength of a country, and scientists are the backbone of the country and the nation. Many era models and national heroes have emerged in this great group. Throughout his life, Mr. Guo has accompanied science and made many scientific masters. These scientists, under extremely difficult conditions, remain steadfast in serving their country, dedicating themselves to science, and have made remarkable achievements. Their character, personality, and spirit are like flags and monuments standing in front of teachers and students. Inheriting and carrying forward the spirit of scientists will surely realize the dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
郭先生给师生们分享了核物理先驱赵忠尧、钱学森院士、钱三强院士、华罗庚院士、陈景润、邓稼先、郭永怀七位科学家的故事。他们是伟大的科学家，是共和国的功勋，但在生活中却那么平易近人，过着简朴的生活，却为祖国做出了巨大的贡献。
Mr. Guo shared with teachers and students the stories of seven scientists, including nuclear physics pioneer Zhao Zhongyao, Academician Qian Xuesen, Academician Qian Sanqiang, Academician Hua Luogeng, Chen Jingrun, Deng Jiaxian, and Guo Yonghuai.They are great scientists and the credit of the republic, but they are so approachable in life, living a simple life and making great contributions to the motherland.

Through this lecture, students have gained a better understanding of scientists. Great scientists have made tremendous contributions to the development of human civilization.
