科技中心是为同学们学习、探究科技创新课程,掌握计算机科学、自然科学、智能产品设计、信息技术、通用技术、STEAM、创客等领域的教学研究部门。目前,科技中心已经搭建好了覆盖全学段的常规ICT和CS课程,以及具有清香特色的STEAM、机器人、编程、人工智能、CAD、激光切割、3D设计与打印、金木工制作、CNC加工、智能硬件、未来城市设计、自然科学入门、科学实验探究、昆虫标本制作、古生物学与博物馆、科技工程、火箭技术等课程。这些特色课程在学校的ASA时段、科技活动周、冬令营、夏校等活动中开展。同学们也将在编程、硬件设计与加工、机器人三条主线上得到从初阶到高阶的系统的培养。
在这里,学生的好奇心、想象力、创造力、创新能力、批判思维、计算思维、合作意识等重要的科技学习素养,都将会被点亮和激发。在整个学习过程中,学生将沉浸在一个探索性的学习环境中,通过各种基于问题和基于项目的学习活动,综合运用他们的科学、技术、工程、艺术和数学知识。学生不断进行自我评价和自我反思,以判断自己在课程中取得的进步、兴趣点、经验和技能,这有助于帮助他们在以后的生活中选择对应的课程或职业规划,也能帮助学生在现实生活中制作出几乎任何满足需要的产品。在一次次项目的实践、探究和迭代中,学生能逐渐培养起勇于探索的热情,并在不断尝试与挑战后,发现最好的自己。
科技中心的老师们已经为同学们搭建好了科技学习的平台http://cs.thisdlit.cn,同学们可以在获得账号之后进行自主学习和老师指导下的动手练习,并在一个个项目与挑战中不断提升科技综合素养。相信通过系统的学习,学生能逐渐成长为具有项目意识和团队协作意识的创新性和创造性人才。
Tech Center is a teaching and research department for students to learn and explore the science, technology and innovation curriculum, and to master the fields of computer science, natural science, intelligent product design, IT, general technology, STEAM, etc. Tech Center has built up a regular ICT and CS curriculum covering all grade levels, as well as STEAM, Robotics, Programming, Artificial Intelligence, CAD, Laser Cutting, 3D Designing and Printing, Metal Work, Carpentry, CNC, Intelligent Hardware, Future City Design, Intro to Natural Science, Science Experiment Investigation, Insect Taxidermy, Paleontology and Museum, Science and Technology Engineering, Rocketry, and other courses. These specialized courses are offered during the school’s ASA periods, Science Week, Winter Camp, Summer School, and other activities. Students will also receive professional training from beginner to advanced levels in the three main areas of programming, hardware design and processing, and robotics.
Students’ curiosity, imagination, creativity, innovation, critical thinking, computational thinking, collaborative awareness, and other important science and technology learning literacies will be illuminated and stimulated here. Throughout the learning process, students will be immersed in an exploratory learning environment that synthesizes their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, art, and math through a variety of problem-based and project-based learning activities. Students engage in ongoing self-evaluation and self-reflection to determine their progress, points of interest, experiences, and skills during the course, which can help assist them in choosing a corresponding course or career plan later in life, as well as in producing virtually any product that meets a need in real life. In practicing, exploring and iterating from project to project, students can gradually develop a passion for exploration and discover their best selves after continuous experimentation and challenges.
Teachers in Tech Center have set up a platform for students to learn science and technology: http://cs.thisdlit.cn. Students can carry out independent learning and hands-on practice under the guidance of teachers after obtaining an account, and continue to improve their comprehensive science and technology literacy in one project and challenge after another. It is believed that through systematic learning, students can finally grow into innovative and creative talents with a sense of project awareness and teamwork.
