Strong people must be strong heart, strong country must be strong chip. Therefore, a strong country needs strong chip tech.
11月19日,我们很荣幸地邀请到了来自清华大学集成电路学院的王水弟教授,为我们讲述“它”的神奇魅力和重要价值。
On 19th November, we were honoured to invite Professor Wang Shuidi from the School of Integrated Circuits at Tsinghua University to talk to us about the magic and value of “it”.
讲座从“它”的前世今生到其工作原理,从构造到制造,从中国制造水平到中国芯强大的重要和长远意义。王教授用简练的语言帮助清香寄宿生打开了一扇了解神秘又美丽的“它”的大门。
The lecture started from the past and present life of “it” to its working principle, from its structure to its manufacturing, from the level of China’s manufacturing to the importance and long-term significance of a strong Chinese core. Professor Wang used concise language to help THISDL boarding students open a door to understand its mystery and beauty.
“它”是20世纪最伟大的技术,是信息产业最重要的技术,也是进步最快的技术。“它”的技术应用是现代社会的基石。
“It” is the greatest technology in the 20th century, the most important technology in the information industry and the fastest advancing technology. The application of TA technology is the cornerstone of modern society.
1948年晶体管的诞生正式拉开了当今电子时代的帷幕。此后,包括计算机在内的电力电子技术得到了飞速发展。
The birth of the transistor in 1948 officially opened the curtain on today’s electronic age. Since then, power electronics, including computers, have developed rapidly.
而“它”的前世,只是一捧黄沙而已。王教授通过一段视频向大家生动展示了一捧沙子是如何华丽转变为现代工业“心脏”的。
And in its previous life, just a handful of yellow sand. Professor Wang through a video to show how a handful of sand is a gorgeous transformation into a modern industrial heart.
讲座最后,王教授鼓励感兴趣的清香学子们好好珍惜清香校园先进的学习环境,刻苦学习,从小树立远大目标和志向,在未来为祖国集成电路的制造和发展贡献出属于自己的力量。
At the end of the lecture, Prof Wang encouraged interested THISDL students to cherish the advanced learning environment of THISDL Campus, study hard, set up ambitious goals and aspirations from childhood, and contribute to the manufacturing and development of integrated circuits of the motherland in the future.
