Let’s take a look at how students experience in the area of science and technology and creativity in the creative and challenging VEX Robotics Program, not only having fun, but also practicing many aspects of literacy.

动手实践，激发创意Hands-on practice inspires creativity

在VEX课程中，孩子们不是被动地接受知识，而是成为小小工程师，亲自动手搭建机器人。他们需要根据任务要求，设计机器人的结构，选择合适的零件，并进行组装。在这个过程中，孩子们的创意思维得到了极大的激发，他们学会了如何将想法转化为现实。

In the VEX program, children are not passive recipients of knowledge, but become little engineers and build robots with their own hands. They need to design the structure of the robot, choose the right parts and assemble it according to the requirements of the task. In this process, children’s creative thinking is greatly stimulated and they learn how to transform ideas into reality.

团队协作，创意无限Teamwork and creativity

VEX活动强调团队合作。孩子们分组进行，每个小组就是一个紧密的团队。在搭建机器人和完成任务的过程中，他们需要相互沟通、协作，共同解决问题。这不仅锻炼了孩子们的沟通能力，更让他们学会了如何在团队中发挥自己的作用，以及如何与他人携手共进。

VEX activities emphasize teamwork. Children work in groups, and each group is a close-knit team. In the process of building robots and accomplishing tasks, they need to communicate and collaborate to solve problems together. This not only practiced the children’s communication skills, but also taught them how to play their roles in the team and how to work hand in hand with others.

逻辑思维，编程先行Logical thinking, programming first

机器人不仅仅是硬件的堆砌，更重要的是软件的灵魂。孩子们需要学习编程知识，为机器人编写程序，让它能够按照预设的路径和动作完成任务。在这个过程中，孩子们的逻辑思维能力得到了极大的锻炼，他们学会了如何分析问题、找出解决方案，并用编程语言将其实现。

Robotics is not just a pile of hardware, but more importantly the soul of the software. Children need to learn programming knowledge and write programs for the robot so that it can follow the preset paths and actions to complete the tasks. In this process, the children’s logical thinking ability is greatly exercised, they learn how to analyze the problem, find out the solution, and use programming language to realize it.

竞技对抗，勇往直前Competitive match, going forward

VEX课程最有魅力的地方莫过于机器人竞技对抗赛。孩子们操控着自己亲手搭建的机器人，在赛场上与对手一较高下。这不仅考验了机器人的性能，更考验了孩子们的应变能力和心理素质。在紧张刺激的比赛中，孩子们学会了如何在压力下保持冷静，如何迅速调整策略以应对突发情况。

One of the most fascinating aspects of the VEX program is the Robotics Competition. Children control their own hand-built robots and compete with their opponents on the field. This is not only a test of the robot’s performance, but also a test of the children’s resilience and psychological quality. During the intense and exciting competition, the children learned how to stay calm under pressure and how to quickly adjust their strategies to deal with unexpected situations.
