In the VEX program, children are not passive recipients of knowledge, but become little engineers and build robots with their own hands. They need to design the structure of the robot, choose the right parts and assemble it according to the requirements of the task. Children need to learn programming knowledge and write programs for the robot so that it can follow the preset paths and actions to complete the tasks. In this process, the children’s logical thinking ability is greatly exercised, they learn how to analyze the problem, find out the solution, and use programming language to realize it.
