Competitions as the curtains rise on our school’s Math and Science Week, two exhilarating programming contests have set the stage for creativity and competition. Today, B223 and C217 witnessed fierce battles in the Graphical Programming Competition (Scratch) and the Code Programming Competition, respectively. In this programming challenge, students wove their dreams with code and illuminated the future with their wisdom.
在B223教室，图形化编程赛（Scratch）正如火如荼地进行着。Scratch以其直观的图形化编程界面，为同学们提供了一个充满创意与趣味的编程世界。比赛现场，同学们全神贯注地操作着鼠标，将一个个编程模块拼接起来，构建出属于自己的编程作品。在欢乐的氛围中，同学们完成了一个个挑战，每一次成功的调试都伴随着激动的欢呼声。同学们用简单的图形化模块，创造出复杂而有趣的程序，展现出惊人的创造力和逻辑思维能力。最终张奕宸、雷然同学30分钟以内高效完成所有试题获得一等奖，巩华准1小时以内完成获得二等奖，萧云瀚规定时间内完成获得三等奖。春耕一粒粟，秋收万颗子，四位同学现在的收获源于之前的付出。
In B223, the Graphical Programming Competition (Scratch) was in full swing. Scratch, with its intuitive graphical programming interface, provided students with a world of creativity and fun. At the competition site, students were fully engrossed, manipulating their mice to piece together programming blocks, constructing their unique programming creations. Amidst a joyful atmosphere, students tackled one challenge after another, each successful debug accompanied by excited cheers. With simple graphical modules, students crafted complex and intriguing programs, demonstrating astonishing creativity and logical thinking skills. Ultimately, Ethan Zhang and Arron Lei efficiently completed all tasks within 30 minutes, earning first prize. Eric Gong completed his tasks within an hour, securing second prize, while Tristan Hsiao finished within the allotted time to claim third prize. As the saying goes, “Sow one grain of millet in spring and reap ten thousand seeds in autumn”; the harvest of these four students is a testament to their previous efforts.
与此同时，C217教室的代码编程赛也紧张而有序地进行着。这场比赛着重围绕判断、数组、累加、字符串处理、单词匹配、ISBN码扫描等编程知识展开。参赛选手们面对复杂的编程题目，冷静思考，迅速敲击键盘，一行行代码在屏幕上跳跃。他们不仅要准确理解题目要求，还要运用所学的编程知识，巧妙地解决问题。这是一场思维与毅力的较量，更是一次对同学们编程能力的全面检验。在紧张的比赛中，同学们展现了扎实的编程基础和出色的应变能力。
Meanwhile, the Code Programming Competition in C217 proceeded tensely. This competition focused on programming knowledge such as conditionals, arrays, accumulation, string manipulation, word matching, ISBN code scanning, and more. Faced with complex programming problems, the participants calmly pondered and swiftly tapped away at their keyboards, with lines of code dancing across their screens. They not only had to accurately understand the problem requirements but also cleverly apply their programming knowledge to solve the issues. It was a contest of intellect and perseverance, and a comprehensive test of the students’ programming abilities. Amidst the tense competition, the students showcased solid programming foundations and impressive adaptability.
经过激烈的角逐，比赛最终落下帷幕。李宏年、黄荻、朱洛颉、闵心兰四位同学凭借出色的表现，以全部题目通过的优异成绩荣获一等奖。他们在比赛中展现出的高超编程能力和冷静沉着的心态令人钦佩。鲍泰宇、殷圣佑两位同学荣获二等奖，王辰之、黄嘉回、孙慕溪三位同学荣获三等奖。这些获奖同学的成功离不开平时的刻苦学习和积累，冰冻三尺绝非一日之寒。
After fierce competition, the event finally drew to a close. Andy Li, Di Huang, Amy Zhu, and Summer Min stood out with outstanding performances, solving all problems and earning first prize with flying colors. Their superb programming skills and calm demeanor throughout the competition were admirable. Alexander Bao and Shengyou Yin received second prize, while Andy Wang, Jiahui Huang, and Maxwell Sun were awarded third prize. The success of these award-winning students is a result of their diligent study and accumulation over time; Rome wasn’t built in a day.
