Tsinghua Daoxiang Future City Team Members Activity-Perceptions for the 2025 American Future City Competition

This 2025 Future City competition was an exceptionally unique experience. In this competition, I had fun visiting places in Washington, like visiting the Air and Space Museum, The Capitol, and walking near the Washington Monument. During the event, we saw many good city designs from other teams, some of which got awards. Sadly, we did not get awards at all, nor got into the top teams, but it was a valuable experience still, in which it reminded us that we still had space for improvement, and we could do even better. We hope that we will have a better experience for the next competition.

We all first thank that the Future City committee had give us a chance to participate in the competition. We feel great that we have make much friend during the competition with other team, we also learned from other team’s model and learned what does our model need to get better score in the future. We look forward for more competition like future city and we wish we cold come back again.

In this time future city competition, I had feelings like regret, happiness, and nervous. I also gained a lot of valuable experience and understanding from it, such as oral expression ability, STEAM knowledge, and experience of America. I am incredibly grateful to the organizing committee for providing us with an opportunity to communicate with students from other schools, I can learn more insights and skills on future city design and meet foreign friends. Unfortunately, we did not get any awards, this time in the international competition, but next time, I will learn from the lessons of this time and try to be one of the presenters, try my best to help my team.
