With the arrival of the 2024-2025 academic year, the Robomaster course has officially commenced in the newly completed robotics laboratory. This bright and spacious lab, equipped with multiple Robomaster robots and a dynamic training arena, exudes a strong sense of technology, sparking students’ imaginations about the future. Each class sees eager students gathering early around the teacher, excitedly awaiting the start of their robotic adventure. As the teacher explains, the students watch intently, occasionally expressing awe. The hands-on segment of the class brings palpable excitement as every young mind immerses itself in programming and operations, giving a glimpse of future engineers in the making.

In this course, students not only learn how to control robots precisely through computers but also gradually grasp the fundamental principles and applications of programming languages. Under the teacher’s guidance, they design intricate routes and write code to help the robots navigate through “obstacle forests,” earning rounds of applause with each successful attempt. The students also explore the robots’ lighting and sound systems, turning simple codes into vibrant performances: each program comes to life with colorful lights and rhythmic sounds. Additionally, they become fascinated by the unique design of the Mecanum wheels, which enable omnidirectional movement. Through repeated trials and the exploration of each driving detail, they experience the marvels of technology firsthand.
